Dr. Soungwon "Sunny" Bae, D.O., is a pediatrician committed to :listening to her patients' concerns and partnering with them to provide the best possible medical care." In the medical field since 1991, Dr. Bae believes in early intervention and preventive care to ensure her patients can live a healthy life. With a strong focus on early intervention and literacy promotion for her patients, Dr. Bae has a strong passion and interest in pediatric care. "Ever since a young age I have always wanted to become a pediatrician," Dr. Bae says, "and being a mother of three daughters has helped me better understand the importance of early intervention and literacy promotion. It has helped me become a better pediatrician." Dr. Bae earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown before receiving her Doctor of Osteopathy at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. After finishing her pediatric residency at Yale University-Bridgeport Hospital, Dr. Bae worked at the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation before moving to Tucson where she enjoys time outdoors, and with her friends and family.
