Sabina Mian, M.D., is a board-certified rheumatologist who diagnoses and treats adult patients with rheumatic diseases such as lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. She takes the time to listen to each patient compassionately. She comprehensively reviews how each patient's medical illness started and progressed. Thereafter, she discusses her assessment and the appropriate options for treatment. Dr. Mian believes in patient education, and will explain her recommendations based on each patient’s unique case. She understands that a diagnosis with a rheumatic disease can be life-changing and at times overwhelming. In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Mian has participated in clinical research. She has served as clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Arizona and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Mian earned her medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Las Vegas, and then a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Southern California.
