Shubh Preet Kaur, M.D., obtained her medical degree from the premier Indian medical school, Kottayam Medical College. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency from Rochester General Hospital in New York and then became chief resident at the University of Arizona’s internal medicine program at its south campus. Dr. Kaur completed her endocrinology fellowship from the University of Arizona. During her fellowship, she wrote book chapters to help primary care physicians care for patients with diabetes. She also worked as a hospitalist at Tucson Medical Center. Dr. Kaur specializes in diagnosing and treating diabetes and other metabolic disorders. She also treats osteoporosis, menstrual irregularities, calcium disorders and dysfunctions of thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands.
